Batter Up

Tonight I'm going to my first real sporting event outside of Colorado since I moved. However, for several reasons, I don't really quite know how to feel about it:

1. I am going to a baseball game—I dislike baseball
2. The Mariners are playing—I don't care about them
3. The Twins are playing—I don't care about them either
4. Beer is ridiculously expensive here

Best I can hope for is that I can find some good food and a beer stand that doesn't break the bank. Although, even having a beer isn't going to be that great. It really figures, the weather has been absolutly gorgeous bright and sunny here for the past three weeks. What's it like today, the one day I'm going to an outdoor sporting event? Overcast and chilly.
